Sleep!

I can't really believe it, but after his incredibly fussiness last night, Colin passed out at 8:30 almost on the dot and slept until 3:30. Absolutely unheard of! I am SURE this is a fluke considering he has gotten up every 2 hours for the past month and has NEVER slept that long before! But boy was it nice! :)

I of course didn't go to bed until about an hour after he did and then woke up a million times to check on him, because I couldn't believe he was still sleeping and making sure he was still breathing!

I wish I could say I could replicate everything I did last night the exact same way so he would sleep. BUT, Ryan is out of town, so I didn't even bother with the crib and just plopped him in Ryan's spot on the bed to sleep. He must like having his own space on the bed because this is the second time that when Ryan has been gone and he's sleeping on the bed with me he has slept very good. I remember the last time (barely) was about 3 or 4 months ago and Ryan was on a trip, I was still on maternity leave and I had Colin swaddled on Ryan's side of the bed and he slept like 5 or 6 hours. I was in shock because at the time that was his longest sleep stretch.

Anywho, I don't plan to get my hopes up and thoroughly expect less sleep tonight, especially since he is at the sitters and always wants extra mommy time at night to make up for his sitter time....  but boy was it nice! I don't think Ryan would appreciate getting kicked out of his spot in bed... the good news is, Ryan started a new position and is going to be traveling a bit more...   Lol. :)  (J/k Daddy, We love you... but we also love us some sleep! :)  )
